The Empty Bowl is a collaborative fundraising project between the Augusta Jewish Community Center
and Golden Harvest Food Bank. 
 
"Ending Hunger Together"
Our goal is to raise money and awareness about the nature
and extent of hunger in the CSRA, with sole
purpose to feed our hungry neighbors.
 
The AJCC provides educational, social and cultural programming for children, adults and seniors to include a food pantry and academic scholarships.

The Golden Harvest Food Bank distributes nearly
14.5 million pounds of food and grocery products to a network of over 400 agencies in 30 counties in Georgia and South Carolina. GHFB's core activity is grocery distribution. It also runs the Master's table Soup Kitchen in downtown Augusta. One of GHFB's member agencies is the AJCC.
