The 11th Annual Empty Bowl is a joint fundraiser for both the Golden Harvest Food Bank and the Augusta Jewish Community Center!
The original EMPTY BOWL event served lunch guests a simple meal of soup and bread in a beautifully hand-crafted ceramic bowl made by local students and artists. The guests would then keep the bowl as a reminder of hunger in the world... humble beginnings have grown to a community event helping many each year. This year we celebrate 11 years.

Have Sunday Brunch, Lunch or early Dinner with us featuring a wonderful “all you can eat” soup-kitchen style buffet consisting of a wide variety of soups, breads, beverages, and desserts! Plus kid-friendly foods!All foods are donated by the CSRA's best restaurants, caterers, and food companies. It is an informal, fun event for the entire family!

Everyone chooses a handmade ceramic bowl made by local students and artists to take home with them as a reminder that their PARTICIPATION helped ease someone's hunger in the CSRA.

Over 240 items from some of the area's best shops, stores, and boutiques plus gift certificates featuring the area's best services and restaurants will be availble! Bids are from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm.
A special "take it with you" price will be available for those who don't want to risk losing a great item!

Enter for your chance to WIN a bike from CHAIN REACTION... each can of food donated counts as a chance to win plus helps those in our community. Raffle tickets may be purchased for $1. each or 6/$5.
Rebecca Hogue is the 2012 winning T-shirt designer. Rebecca is a student at Westside High and her submission was selected from among 367 entries. Her winning design will be featured on the Empty Bowl 2012 T-shirts. She will receive a prize of $100.00 and she will be featured on News 12. Congratulations, Rebecca!
