The 12th Annual Empty Bowl
is a joint fundraiser for both the
Golden Harvest Food Bank and
the Augusta Jewish Community Center!
The original EMPTY BOWL event served lunch guests a simple meal of soup and bread in a beautifully hand-crafted ceramic bowl made by local students and artists. The guests would then keep the bowl as a reminder of hunger in the world... humble beginnings have grown to a community event helping many each year. This year we celebrate 12 years.
SHOP THE CSRA's LARGEST SILENT AUCTION!
Over 225 items from some of the area's best shops, stores and boutiques, plus gift certificates featuring the area's best services and restaurants, will be available for bid! The Silent Auction opens at 11:00 AM and closes promptly at 3:00 PM.
A special "Take Home Now" price will be available for those who don't want to risk losing a great item! All proceeds benefit YOUR community!

Enjoy Sunday Brunch, Lunch or an early Dinner with us featuring a wonderful “all you can eat” soup-kitchen style buffet consisting of a non-stop variety of soups, breads, desserts and beverages! Kid-friendly foods also available! All foods are donated by the CSRA's best restaurants, caterers, and food companies. It is an informal, fun event for the entire family!

Everyone chooses a handmade ceramic bowl made by local students and artists to take home with them as a reminder that their PARTICIPATION helped ease someone's hunger in the CSRA.
T-SHIRT CONTEST WINNER
Eva Fernandez is the 2013 winning T-shirt designer.
Eva is an exchange student at Westside High and her submission was selected from among 236 entries. Her winning design will be featured on the Empty Bowl 2013 T-shirt. She will receive a prize of $100.00 and will be featured on News 12. Congratulations, Eva!
